  • Couple slide off Lions Trail – require helicopter rescue

    A tourist lost his footing on the West Lion trail, and slid into his partner dragging them down the slope above the village of Lions Bay on Sunday the 15th of May around 4pm. The subject was subsequently airlifted with a helicopter long-line. The hiker sustained a concussion and a broken jaw in his fall.
