Lions Bay Search and Rescue (LBSAR) is a volunteer-based emergency response team dedicated to supporting the public and partner agencies in times of need. Operating in one of the most rugged and varied landscapes in coastal British Columbia, our volunteers train year-round to safely and effectively respond to a wide range of search and rescue challenges.

Our rescue specialties include: Mountain Rescue, Rope Rescue, Swiftwater Rescue, Helicopter Rescue, Canyoning, Tracking, and more.
